MW4 2box & 3box, Automated

The names come from consoles. 2boxing meant running two side by side, one for you and one signed into a low-K/D account. 3boxing meant three. You play your own account as normal, and the extra accounts sit in your party while you search.

Nothing about that changes with MW4. The new game brings new maps, modes and weapons, but a party is still matched as a party, so the accounts beside you still count. For the full background, see what 2boxing is and what 3boxing is.

All of our Multiplayer regions are 3box, so in MW4 Multiplayer two of our accounts join your party, and the rest of the party is yours to fill with friends.

MW4 Multiplayer 3boxing is part of the Max plan, from launch day on October 23, 2026. What each plan includes is in our pricing section.

Activision has said Warzone takes on MW4’s content and progression from MW4’s first season. Our Warzone regions keep running as they do now: 2box regions add one of our accounts to your party, and 3box regions add two.

2box leaves more room for friends; 3box pulls matchmaking further because two low-K/D accounts make up more of the party. Warzone 2boxing and 3boxing are part of the Pro plan.

Activision hasn’t confirmed how matchmaking will work in MW4 Multiplayer at launch. Its beta tested both the newer system Black Ops 7 Multiplayer moved to in Season 05 and Open playlists alongside it, so anything claiming a final answer is ahead of the facts.

Pick a region near you and join its queue, from our Discord or the dashboard. When it’s your turn, friend the bot once (it accepts automatically), join its party, pick a mode and start the search. Our accounts search with you and back out before the match starts, and you play the match as normal.

Our accounts are played by hand to keep their K/D extremely low. There’s nothing to install, no extra console, and your login never leaves your hands.
